Question 1

What is The Ledger & Lamp?

Accepted Answer

The Ledger & Lamp is a curated traveling bookstore based in Florida. We pop up at vendor markets, intimate evenings, and community events across the Treasure Coast — Vero Beach, Okeechobee, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Palm City, Tequesta, and Jupiter — bringing hand-selected books, literary stickers, and bookish goods directly to readers.

Question 2

What is "Blind Date with a Book"?

Accepted Answer

Blind Date with a Book is our signature experience. Every book is wrapped in brown paper and twine, with only a few hand-written words hinting at its mood or theme. No titles, no covers, no author names — just the promise of a story worth opening.

Question 3

Where is The Ledger & Lamp located?

Accepted Answer

The Ledger & Lamp is a mobile bookstore that travels throughout Florida's Treasure Coast and surrounding areas. We do not have a fixed brick-and-mortar location. Follow @theledgerandlamp on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for our next stop.

Question 4

What kind of books do you sell?

Accepted Answer

We curate across multiple genres including romantasy, thriller, mystery, contemporary romance, historical fiction, and cozy fiction. Featured authors include Rebecca Robinson, Colleen Hoover, Rachel Gillig, Tanya Pell, Millie Bobby Brown, and Laurie Gilmore.
